The much loved musical, My Fair Lady opens Friday, October 21st.at 8:00pm. And Aurora Players is once again celebrating opening night with a “themed” pre-show dinner to put everyone in the “olde world” frame of mind!
For this final show of the season, our “themed” dinner event will be celebrated at the newly expanded “Rick’s On Main”. Owners, Cathy and Rick Pohlman are as excited as the cast & crew and have graciously created a custom- themed dinner menu just for us!
To set the mood and transport us in spirit back to 1912 London, England we will be served a traditional and proper “English” meal starting with an appetizer of Scotch Egg with English mustard sauce and Guinness Ale Cheddar and Ham soup. Followed by an entrée of Beef Wellington with English Onion gravy, Sweet Pea Mashed Potatoes and Glazed carrots. And for dessert, “Banoffee Pie”, a Banana Toffee Trifle with freshly whipped cream. Coffee/Tea or soft-drink.
This custom themed meal is being offered for only $25.00 per person. ** Seating will be in the upstairs dining rooms and limited to 75 guests. Reservations are on first come basis, so reserve soon!***
And “with a little bit of luck” we hope you will arrive early for a pre-dinner cocktail from “Rick’s on Main ” newly opened bar and enjoy the front deck overlooking historic Main Street, East Aurora!
This “themed” dinner will begin promptly at 5:30 pm to allow ample time to enjoy the wonderful meal and return to the Roycroft Pavilion in Hamlin Park before curtain up at 8:00 pm!
