Aurora Players celebrates our 75th Anniversary (1934-2009) this season in style, with a Gala celebration on Saturday, September 12th, 2009. The former Knox family mansion, inside the Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora, New York will be the setting for an elegant evening of dinner, dancing and gathering of friends both old and new alike!
This black tie encouraged, but optional, evening will include a buffet dinner catered by Bravo!, live music by the Bob Sowyrda trio, a historical video montage, a cash bar and a few surprises which have all the makings for a great evenings entertainment! The only thing to make it even nicer would be you!
If you are a current Aurora Players Patron, Season Ticket holder or Member, relax! We have your mailing information and you will soon be receiving an invitation in the mail with ticket prices, registration deadlines, and more details.
But if you are not on a mailing list from Aurora Players, you are still invited! Part of the Aurora Players mission statement is “to be the means of bringing together in organized activities all those of kindred spirit whose interest centers about the drama”

"Memories and Musings" Program Blocks available
As part of the program booklet for Aurora Players’ upcoming 75th Anniversary Gala,we are devoting several pages to you, the members, patrons, and season ticket holders of Aurora Players. These pages, entitled Memories & Musings, offer everyone an opportunity to share a congratulatory message, a special memory, or a particular story from their experiences within Aurora Players over the years. There is a nominal cost of $5 for these “message blocks;” combinations of two ($10) or three ($15) blocks are available, as well.
A “single” message block is about 1.5 inches wide by .70 inch deep and can accommodate four text lines of about 20 words. A “double” message block is about 3.25 inches wide by .70 inch deep, and will fit four text lines of about 45 – 50 words. The “triple” message block measures about 5 inches wide by .70 inch deep, accepting up to four text lines of about 65 – 70 words. This is a great way to share your memories and show appreciation for the organization and its members that have become, for so many of us, a second family.
Those interested in purchasing a “message block” can download and print this linked PDF form, complete it, then send it in with their payment by August 24, 2009 to have their message included in this special section of the commemorative 75th Anniversary Gala program. While we will make every effort to include them, any orders received after this date cannot be guaranteed inclusion in the final program, due to time and/or program space limitations.

Tuxedo rental deals are available through Marty's Formal Wear in Williamsville and Tuxedo Junction stores throughout WNY for the upcoming 75th Anniversary Gala on September 12.
Marty's will rent you a basic tuxedo, which includes coat, pants, vest, tie, shoes, studs and cufflinks for $49.99; designer tuxedo, including the same items, rent for $69.99.
Tuxedo Junction will rent you any tuxedo (except for certain high-end models) for $55; shoes are an additional $15; substitute a vest for cummerbund for an additional $15.
Mention Aurora Players’ 75th Anniversary Gala at either business to get these special prices.
